If knowledge is power, then we just became superheroes! – 25/01/2020

It is with great pleasure and honour to share with you a major success of Creators of Cosmos. On January 18th, 2020 Ms. Xanthippe Tokmakides presented her Ph.D. thesis entitled: “The use of the application ‘The carnival of the animals’ on iPad, for the strengthening of foreign language in children of primary school”, during the 7th Scientific Conference: Designing Teaching, Training & Vocational Training of Educational Specialties, held in the Music Library of Greece “Lilian Voudouri”.

The reason why this Ph.D. research is important for us has to do with two facts. Firstly, it was Ms. Tokmakides and Mr. Chatzidamianos (as fellow researcher) who fulfilled this thesis, receiving not only the degree of ‘Arista’ for their work but also achieving for the thesis to be recognized as one of the most important in the field of interdisciplinary education from the evaluation committee of the Macedonia University, in Thessaloniki. Secondarily, this is one of the researches, if not the major one, that allowed us to identify indicators that prove the importance of designing learning activities through gaming. Thus, we used the research to establish our business model and today we are happy to share it with you all.

We want to congratulate Ms. Tokmakides for her success and share her work through the following link https://www.didaktorika.gr/eadd/handle/10442/45853. You just need to sign up and read all about our three years of efforts to establish our operational and strong bases for our development.

On the occasion, we would also like to inform you that our Director of Communications and Business Development, Mario Chatzidamianos, is already conducting meetings with major universities and educational institutions in Athens, in order to introduce our next steps in the Knowledge Economy pillar. That refers to the design and submission of two postgraduate programs to operate in summer 2020, partnering up with a private education institution for the dissemination of our business model to future professionals, the preparation of a new Ph.D. thesis in relation to Environmental Phycology, as well as the submission of our Research and Development program.

Mr. Chatzidamianos also represented our company in the conference held by the Hellenic Ministry of Education entitled “’Building bridges’: Greek universities open to the world”, on the occasion of the International Day of Education. During the event he had the opportunity to discuss with representatives of the “Study in Greece” NGO, in order to develop products that will bring international students to Greek Universities.
