Much to do…so little time – 21/05/2019

In our effort to keep you inform about our day to day efforts and results, we are happy to send out this newsletter for numerous reasons.

First of all we would like to congratulate our General Manager, Konstantinos Kekkas for being accepted in the European co-funded project entitled “Rock”, which aims to support the transformation of historic city centres afflicted by physical decay, social conflicts and poor life quality into Creative and Sustainable districts through shared generation of new sustainable environmental, social and economic processes.

On May the 14th, 2019, we conducted a meeting with Athens Development & Destination Management Agency S.A. executives and the Athens Music Week curator in Greece, Georges Perot owner of NFPO ‘Meso Events’ in order for us to come to an arrangement for a number of events to take place at Theatre Square. After having fruitful discussions with both the teams, our company undertook the obligation of introducing its model for the first Epic Composer Open Air Festival during the Athens Music Convention, to be held during Athens Music Week from June 17th to June 23rd, 2019. A multi-day cultural event of international scope, regarding Music Industry. The idea was born on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the launch of the European Music Day Festival in Athens in 1999, thanks to NFPO ‘MESO’s’ cooperation with the Athletic Culture and Youth Organization of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA), and in connection with the joint efforts for the emerge of Athens as an international destination for innovation in the music industry, through the collaboration of ‘Technopolis’ and ‘INNOVATHENS’ powered by Samsung. We would also like to inform you that we are finalizing our pitching deck to be delivered to the beneficiaries of “Polis²” as well as our strategic business analysis for Coco-mat.bike, thus fulfilling part of our obligations to the program. In the same context we are happy to announce that we completed the screening of organizations that could possibly collaborate with us in the implementation of our Kinaesthetic Intelligence seminar for the empowerment of unemployed – ex convicts. Hopefully we’ll be on time to present this one during the following months.

Finally, our company took part in the press conference entitled “Take a stand! Candidate Members of European Parliament answer.” This was the closing event of the ‘MAKE THEM ACT’ campaign, which was initiated by the organizing committee of the Anti-Discrimination Walk 2019. The event is related with the effort of over 120 Civil Society Organizations & Communities from Greece and other European countries, as well as hundreds of citizens, to sign a Public Statement, reflecting their deep concern about the rise of racism, xenophobia and the far-right elements in Europe.
