Developing Black Sea Region and European Union partnerships – 23/12/2019

Only few days are left before we wave 2019 farewell, and we would like to keep you updated with our latest news in relation to our international projects.

On December 2nd, we participated in the conference jointly organized by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), the OSCE Special Representative and coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and the Office of the National Rapporteur on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, entitled “Enhancing Anti-Trafficking Response in the Black Sea Region”, within the framework of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office.

During the conference our Director of Communications and Business Development, Mario Chatzidamianos discussed with Aleksandr Kyrylenko, Program Officer of the Special Representative and Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, on issues such as the OSCE Efforts to Address Child Trafficking and Protect Trafficked Children. In particular, they exchanged opinions on possible ways to better enhance the knowledge of public servants in order to establish a focal point in Greece, responsible for offering support to trafficked children through the activation of two institutions, the child supporter and the legal advisor, with the first one becoming a person of trust for the children and the second being the person to protect the children’s rights during the legal procedures. This would be a great opportunity for our company to enter its Social Programs and especially the ones directed to kids.

On December 9th, we participated in the conference jointly organized by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) in cooperation with the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), entitled “Confidence Building in the Black Sea Region”, within the framework of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office. During the event our Director of Communications and Business Development presented our concepts in relation to soft diplomacy policies, to be introduced through our model of creative industries products exploitation. In extend, he presented our operational design to Mr. Dan Petre, Director General of the Romanian Diplomatic Institute and asked for his insight on how to more efficiently present the market with soft diplomacy -related initiatives. Learn more about the two events by visiting www.icbss.org.

On December 12th, we submitted our application to be evaluated for the Pergine Festival in Italy, for our company to produce a project which will create a dialogue with the urban space and its inhabitants, temporarily transforming it and its regional trajectories. We also submitted applications for the Blue growth contest as well as to the Innovathens SMATH accelerator.

Last but not least, we would like to inform you that our General Manager Mr. Kekkas, participated successfully in the meetings held by the “Trust in Play” program, offering our tools to a new team of individuals, game designers, and thus received their congratulation on the methodologies we follow in relation to our production procedures.
