Developing Black Sea Region and European Union partnerships – 23/12/2019

On December 2nd, we participated in the conference jointly organized by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), the OSCE Special Representative and coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and the Office of the National Rapporteur on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, entitled “Enhancing Anti-Trafficking Response in the Black Sea Region”, within the framework of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office.

During the conference our Director of Communications and Business Development, Mario Chatzidamianos discussed with Aleksandr Kyrylenko, Program Officer of the Special Representative and Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, on issues such as the OSCE efforts to address child trafficking and protection of trafficked children. In particular, they exchanged opinions on possible ways to better enhance the knowledge of public servants in order to establish a focal point in Greece, responsible for offering support to children victims of trafficking, through the activation of two institutions, the child supporter and the legal advisor, with the first one becoming a person of trust for the children and the second being the person to protect the children’s rights during the legal procedures. This would be a great opportunity for our company to enter its Social Programs and especially the ones directed to kids.

On December 9th, we participated in the conference jointly organized by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) in cooperation with the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), entitled “Confidence Building in the Black Sea Region”, within the framework of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office. During the event, our Director of Communications and Business Development presented our concepts in relation to soft diplomacy policies, to be introduced through our model of creative industries products exploitation. To this extend, he presented our operational design to Dan Petre, Director General of the Romanian Diplomatic Institute and asked for his insight on how to address the market more efficiently with soft diplomacy -related initiatives. On December 12th, 2019, we submitted our application to be evaluated for the Pergine Festival in Italy, for our company to produce a project which will create a dialogue between the urban space and its inhabitants, temporarily transforming it as well as its regional trajectories. We also submitted applications for the Blue growth contest as well as for the INNOVATHENS SMATH accelerator.

Last but not least, we would like to inform you that our General Manager, Konstantinos Kekkas, participated successfully in the meetings held by the “Trust in Play” program, offering our tools to a new team of individuals, game designers, and thus receiving congratulation on the methodologies we follow in relation to our production procedures.
